General Terms and Conditions

GipTrans s.r.o.

These are the Terms and Conditions of GipTrans s.r.o., with its registered office at Pacovská 2104/1, Krč, 140 00 Prague 4, Czech Republic, Company ID (IČO): 23210931, VAT ID (DIČ): CZ23210931.

A customer who uses the services of GipTrans s.r.o. fully accepts these Terms and Conditions by signing an order or contract or by placing an online booking through the Company's website. Confirmation of a booking constitutes explicit acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Customers who do not agree with these Terms and Conditions are not entitled to use the Company's services.

Unless otherwise agreed, all transportation services and related booking services are provided in accordance with applicable Czech legislation governing passenger road transport.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the relevant provisions of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code of the Czech Republic, and other applicable legal regulations.

The protection of customers' personal data is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Czech legislation.

Basic Terms

1.1 The Company refers to GipTrans s.r.o., with its registered office at Pacovská 2104/1, Krč, 140 00 Prague 4, Czech Republic, Company ID (IČO): 23210931, VAT ID (DIČ): CZ23210931, providing private transfer, chauffeur, and transportation services under these Terms and Conditions.

1.2 The Customer refers to any individual or legal entity using the Company's services based on an order or contract subject to these Terms and Conditions.

1.3 Terms and Conditions refer to the conditions under which the Company provides transportation or related services. Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions is required before using the Company's services.

1.4 The Service or Transportation refers to the transportation service or any related service provided or arranged by the Company.

1.5 The Driver refers to an employee, contractor, or transportation partner authorized by GipTrans s.r.o. to provide transportation services on behalf of the Company.

1.6 Personal Data refers to personal information provided by the Customer in connection with booking or using the Company's services.

Handling of Personal Data

2.1 The Company uses Customers' personal data solely for providing requested services and ensuring proper execution of bookings.

2.2 Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Czech legislation governing the protection of personal data.

2.3 By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the Customer acknowledges that the Company may process personal data as necessary for providing the requested services.

2.4 The Company retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil contractual obligations and comply with applicable legal, accounting, and tax requirements. Personal data is securely deleted or anonymized when no longer required.

2.5 Personal data is processed only in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

2.6 The Company processes personal data only to the extent necessary for providing its services.

Guarantee and Liability

3.1 The Company shall be liable for damages directly caused by its own negligence or the negligence of its employees. Where transportation is provided by an independent transportation partner, that partner shall be responsible for damages arising from its own services.

3.2 The Company shall not be liable for delays or damages resulting from force majeure events, including but not limited to severe weather conditions, natural disasters, traffic accidents, road closures, strikes, governmental actions, or other circumstances beyond the Company's reasonable control.

3.3 The Company's liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Order Methods

5.1 Customers may place bookings through the Company's website, email, telephone, or any other communication method accepted by the Company. A booking becomes binding once it has been confirmed by the Company.

Payment Options

6.1 Customers may pay online, by bank transfer, credit or debit card, cash (where available), or by any other payment method accepted by the Company.

Refunds and Cancellation

10.1 Customers may cancel or modify their reservation at least two hours before the scheduled pickup time. For transfers outside Prague, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup.

10.2 For limousine or special vehicle services, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup; otherwise, a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the booking value may apply.
